Code of Conduct

This code of conduct sets out the mutual commitments of the teacher and the client, in a spirit of mutual respect and good faith. It forms an integral part of the Terms of Sale.

Client commitments

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when booking (identity, contact details, and — for in-person lessons — home area and address).
  • Use the service in good faith. The free discovery session is meant to let a new student try out the lessons: it may legitimately benefit another student in the same household, but must not be claimed repeatedly or in a manifestly abusive way (for example by using several identities to obtain free sessions for the same student).
  • Be present and reachable at the booked slot, at the agreed time, and give notice within the deadlines set out in the Terms of Sale in case of impediment.
  • Behave respectfully towards the teacher; any insulting, harassing or discriminatory words or behaviour are prohibited.

Teacher commitments

  • Prepare and deliver each session diligently, adapting to the student's level and goals.
  • Keep to the agreed times and give notice as early as possible in case of an unforeseen event.
  • Act with respect, kindness and sound teaching.
  • Treat the information shared by the student confidentially and solely for the purposes of the service (see the Privacy Policy).

In the event of a breach

  • In the event of manifest abuse or characterised bad faith — in particular abusive reuse of the discovery offer, a false declaration, repeated unjustified absences, or abusive behaviour — the teacher reserves the right to refuse or cancel the booking concerned.
  • If the cancelled session had been paid for, it is refunded in full.
  • This option applies solely to manifest abuse and can never justify an arbitrary refusal or one based on a discriminatory ground.
